How to Delete Sitemap from Webmaster Tools
We all use sitemap to add with search console to perform well in search engines and to check all indexing report of pages, posts, images and videos. We may get a chance to delete current sitemap to add new one instead of it. If you are adding new sitemap link means, you should remove the sitemap from webmaster tools. For bloggers, initially we may have blogspot in the url for sitemap link but if we add any custom domain to blogger the address will be changed so that we need to replace it in webmaster tools also.

- Log on to Google Webmaster Tools
- Click on sitemap from left side menu
- Now click any submitted sitemap from the list of sitemaps
- Now you can see 3 vertical dot icons on header section
- Click on 3 dot icon
- You will get remove sitemap option
- Choose it and confirm to delete sitemap
You have deleted current sitemap of website or blogger from your webmaster tools or search console. You can add new sitemap to this webmaster tools. You should use proper sitemap address to check exact results and report of your website
